Meet Victor... He's a young dog (appx. 10 months old) that is looking for his Forever Home. He was dumped out in the country, and has been an outside dog so far. Victor has been introduced to outside cats, and plays well with other dogs. He plays very nicely with older children. He has not been introduced to small children yet. He loves to play fetch and get belly rubs. He's very affectionate, polite, and gives great kisses!! Victor is now neutered, UTD on shots, and HW preventative. He weighs 57 lbs.
Update 1-31-13: Victor has been staying with us, his part-time foster family, (that includes 3 Australian Cattle Dogs) for the past week. He is learning to be an inside dog, and doing very well. House-training has been a piece of cake. He sleeps all night inside, no problem. He likes to sit next to you on the couch and snuggle too! He LOVES peanut butter Kongs, Nylabones, tennis balls, and killing stuffies!! He is fine with inside cats. He has been to the dog park for socialization with other dogs, and he got along great with every dog he met! He has been shopping at Tractor Supply and Petsense, and enjoyed meeting new people, and sat nicely for pets on the head. I have been working with him on walking on a leash and basic commands such as: sit, down, shake, come, leave it, etc. He picks things up very quickly and loves learning new things. He is very smart!! Victor is doing very well as an inside dog, but does require outside exercise daily. He loves to do race-track zoomies around the yard and play chase with his foster family dogs. Victor would love to have a forever family with another big dog to romp with!
Victor is ready to go to his Forever Home!!
