We prefer emails as our method of corresponding. We get many phone calls each day (about animals that need help and families who want to adopt). We simply cannot keep up with our calls. It is much easier for us to respond to emails when we have free time (often these are hours where most people are asleep). Domino was found as a stray. He was limping, but when he was taken to the vet, no injuries were found. He was matted so had to be shaved except for the plume on the end of his tail. That hair looks like possibly Lhasa Apso hair, the rest of his long hair was definitely the curly poodle hair.
Domino does attach to the person who takes care of him. He is very sweet natured and wants to be a lap dog. He loves to ride in the car. So far he seems ok with young kids and cats and most of the dogs in his foster home.
Domino weighs 11 pounds, is up to date on vaccinations, and has been neutered. He is on Interceptor for heartworm Prevention, since he was negative for heartworms. He is crate and mostly house trained. We don't have an exact age, but the vet thinks he is 1 - 2 years.
Domino's adoption fee has been waived, so he is free, the potential adoptive family must still be approved. He must be an inside dog, and needs a secure fenced yard. He will also need regular grooming.
All of our pets are fostered in family homes. please read our guidelines carefully. If the animal is listed on our site, it is still available. We will update our listings as soon as the animal has found a home.
