Daisy is a sweet tri-colored beagle who is looking for her forever home. Her last home was kind enough to release her to us. They were not able to give her any attention so she was left alone outside. She seemed sooo very depressed, to the point where we were concerned she may have a severe illness. It turns out, she was dealing with an internal infection and some serious issues resulting from the isolation she was in. She is AKC papered but was never registered. We have her paperwork for reference. She is a year and two months old, on the smaller side at 18 pounds. She is a very mellow dog. Not your typical beagle at all.... loves to just sit around, hang out, and be loved on. Put her in your lap and she will nuzzle up against you. She will need to be a primarily indoor dog. She plays very well with other little dogs. She even tries to hang with the bigger dogs until we rescue her (haha)

Daisy's adoption fee is $150. Since she has been taken into foster care, she has had her DHLPP and Rabies shot. She has been heartworm tested and it came back negative (YAY). She is healing nicely now from her spay surgery. She is very crate trained. (This is her safe place whenever things get overwhelming for her)

PLEASE understand that this dog needs to be someone's baby! She is a precious girl who is just finding her place in this world. There may be times when she will need some reassurance. I am sure as time goes by, those times will lessen. She is thriving now with all the love her foster family is giving her. Each day, it is such a joy to see the progress she makes.

We are thinking that younger kids would not be ideal for Daisy's environment. She would be wonderful, however, with GENTLE older children. In her foster home, there is a 13 year old that absolutely adores her. Daisy sleeps snuggled up against him every night.

Pets For Life Rescue has decided as a group not to ship our pets, the prospective owners must be able to come see the pets in person.
